Dawn is fantastic! Her high energy personality combined with a results-oriented approach translates to results – quickly. She takes a holistic approach to helping you understand nutrition and the implications of what you’re eating – but does so in a very pragmatic way. Through a weekly review of your Personal Assessment and Photo Food Journal, she offers practical suggestions to help you reach your goals with a very “do this, not that” methodology. “Not having the time to eat right is not an excuse! Dawn quickly showed me the err of my ways, and how that misconception was affecting not only my health and weight, but my mood and energy level. I guess I always knew that to some degree, but it seemed too overwhelming to make the shift.
‘In just a few hours, she was able to reinforce how important this needed shift was, and more importantly for me, was able to break the shift into baby steps. From grocery shopping, to food schedules, to eating out (one of my biggest downfalls!), she gave me golden nuggets to finally make my shift. Nuggets that would help me approach my choices differently, but still allow me some of my vices.
I no longer stop for fast- food on my way home late at night from work. The contents of my grocery cart are much healthier, but still yummy. I can still have the occasional cheese pizza – but now with some fresh ingredients from home. And I can still eat some of my favorite foods when eating out, just in different proportions.
